Description
“Rest house” is the only novel that has explicitly captured the story of the drug cartel known as “Banton security”. This drug cartel had acquired homongus wealth through peddling hard drugs both locally and internationally. Banton Security recruits its candidates by offering job opportunities to desperate job seekers who had hoped to earn a living legitimately. The moment the right candidate is employed, he or she is drugged mercilessly so that his or her life would depend on the drug and the cartel.
To further hold each employee or member bound, the drug baron himself Chief Banton enacted a law. “Once you are in, you can’t get out”.
Indeed, it is important to note that in terms of language description, “Rest House” refers to a “place of rest” or a “relaxation centre”. But in this novel, “Rest House” means the “Torture Chamber”, where no suspect or victim ever get to and hope to get out alive. But Priscilla almost got there and was happy to narrate her story.
Readers all over the world, the novel, “Rest House”, is so exciting and so captivating. Happy reading.
Beautifully written thriller that grabs you from the first page-full of romance, sex, drugs. An action packed thriller novel that is second to none.
I’m not usually a big fan of fiction books. However, this book truly moved me. I loved it. I usually give away books after I have read them, but I am keeping this one to re-read (and to share with others as long as they return it to me).
The story is true. Miss White and Priscilla suffered the same fate. Whenever, the urge to take the regular dose of a hard drug intensifies and if the drug is withheld, the instant pain that would follow is indescribable. The pain the victim feels is worse than the burning coals of fire falling upon a man and burning the victim from head to toe without rescue.
The impact if illicit drugs being peddled by criminals and drug barons like Chief Barton in our world is catastrophic. Our youths, men and women of productive age of this generation are under siege by these drug gangs.
Oh—- what a novel! Full of intrigues and suspense! The story was too emotionally touching for me. I concluded reading it and felt tears dropping from my eyes. Please what part of the story is real and what part is fiction?
